Several tests are done before an IVF donor eggs procedure, such as blood group & Rh factor test, serology test, thyroid assessment, and glycosylated hemoglobin. The package covers all these tests.

It is an outpatient procedure, and the egg donation process is a bit longer than a month. After that, the donor eggs are fertilized with the sperm to create embryos. The embryo will transfer with the highest pregnancy potential to the uterus. You can go home the same day of embryo transfer, and after two weeks, you can take a pregnancy test. You can meet the doctor one month after embryo transfer to check if the pregnancy is progressing.
Estrace and progesterone are continued until the day of the pregnancy test after the embryo transfer, and these medications are continued for several weeks.
Unfortunately, donor eggs are not covered by insurance. If your plan has IVF coverage, the IVF cycle may be covered by your insurance.
There is no alternative to IVF with donor eggs because you need someone’s eggs to create embryos.
