Avascular necrosis is a condition that causes the death of bone tissue due to a loss of blood supply. It most commonly affects the hip joint, but it can also occur in other bones, such as the knee, shoulder, and ankle. While it can affect anyone, it's most commonly diagnosed in individuals between 30 and 65 and most commonly occurs in hips.
We encountered a similar case of Ms. Nashit Sultan Mou, a 36-year-old Bangladeshi. She was also diagnosed with avascular necrosis of the hip and was continuously looking for treatment options abroad until she found our website.
As she filled out the inquiry form, we responded quickly and assigned her a case manager. She discussed her problems, and after a thorough discussion, we suggested that she come to India for treatment.
After she landed in India with her husband our coordinator was there at the airport to pick them. All of their arrangements were already made such as medical visa, airport transportation, doctor appointments and accommodation.
The patient was taken to Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, where she consulted Dr. IPS Oberoi, a well-known Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon. He evaluated her reports and advised her to undergo core decompression surgery for her hip.
The surgery was successfully conducted and the patient was satisfied with the treatment as her condition improved gradually post surgery. The couple stayed in India for around 10 days for a proper recovery.
The husband expressed his gratitude, saying, "From picking us up at the airport to taking us to the hotel and arranging appointments with doctors, Vaidam does everything very well. They provide excellent assistance. We hope Vaidam continues to help more patients like us recover."
It was evident that her satisfaction with the treatment extended far beyond what she expected. It wasn't just the physical healing that spoke, but the emotional and psychological transformation as well.
We hope Ms. Nashita recovers quickly and lives a pain-free life!
