Dr. Sami Salem Ahmad is an eminent Consultant General, Laparoscopic, and Bariatric Surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. With over 37 years of surgical experience in Germany, the UK, Jordan, Qatar, and the UAE, Dr. Ahmad is an internationally celebrated pioneer in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery.

Dr. Ahmad earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Hamburg University, Germany, followed by the German Facharzt Board Certification in General Surgery. He also holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) from Edinburgh. He has completed over 2,500 laparoscopic fundoplications and thousands of advanced bariatric procedures.
