Mauritian Patient Preparing for IVF Successfully Undergoes Fibroid Removal Surgery

Many people hope to conceive without any complications, and this was also the case for Mrs. Rambacus, a 57-year-old woman from Mauritius. She had been trying to get pregnant for 10-15 years.

The couple got in touch with Vaidam during a medical camp in Mauritius that was held in July. 

They met our coordinators at the camp and consulted Dr. Richa Jagtap, a Gynecologist and Obstetrician with 17 years of experience.

On reviewing her reports the patient was diagnosed with uterine fibroids and was advised that she must get a Myomectomy (Uterine Fibroids Surgery) before starting IVF. The patient and her partner decided to travel to India for the surgery, which was performed successfully at ART Fertility Clinics in Mumbai.

The IVF treatment will be continued after 2 months when she is fully recovered.
