Vaidam Health Private Limited recently organized a medical check-up camp in Fiji. The camp was held in 3 different cities including Suva, Sigatoka, and Nadi on November 26, 27 and 28. Vaidam team received an overwhelming response, where hundreds of people were highly benefitted by consulting the topmost India doctors.
There were two renowned doctors in the camp associated with Indian Spinal Injuries Center, New Delhi. ISIC is amongst the topmost hospitals in India that has an expertise in all sorts of orthopedic treatment and spine conditions. Several types of ailments are covered under one roof. For example, trauma, joint diseases, spinal injury, back pain, bone tumors, osteoporosis, soft tissue injuries, overuse injuries and many more.
Dr. Vivek Mahajan, a leading orthopedic surgeon in India, was one of the doctors in the medical camp. He is an expert in joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures with minimally invasive and robotic technology having, an experience of nearly 12 years. Some of the other areas of his interest include Joint Replacement Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Joint Pain, and Physiotherapy for Sports Injury Rehabilitation and Cartilage Surgery etc. His recently Computer-aided surgery, to restore mobility to 115-kg woman, was well acknowledged by news media in India.
Dr. B. Mohapatra was another doctor dealing with all the spine queries. He is one of the best spine surgeons in India. He has expertise in Degenerative Spinal Disorders, Spinal Pain Management and Osteoporotic Fractures of Spine with an experience of nearly 15 years in the field. He has won the IGASS fellowship award for presenting a paper titled “Early and sustainable improvement in pain are evident as early as ten days after total lumbar disc replacement – a minimum follow-up of two years” at International Conference on Lumbar Intervertebral Disc at ISIC (April 2009), New Delhi.
Vaidam team expresses sheer appreciation and gratitude for such an enormously welcoming response in Fiji. While there was a huge number of patients, who received needful advice from the doctors; there were many left due to time constraints.
