An enlarged prostate, or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), is common in aging men. It occurs when the prostate gland enlarges, compressing the urethra and causing symptoms like frequent urination, difficulty starting, weak urine flow, incomplete bladder emptying, and dribbling.
