It will take about 2 to 4 hours to complete the surgery. In this surgery a cut is being made just below your belly button which reaches your pubic bone.

A catheter is left in bladder which allows drainage of the urine during healing.  Along with  it a tube is left which drains out the fluid accumulated.

Tube is being placed till two to three days after the procedure.
