Dr. Subhodh Shetty

Dr. Subhodh Sivarama Shetty is an expert Consultant Neonatologist at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. With 15 years of comprehensive clinical and academic experience in pediatrics and neonatology, Dr. Shetty is dedicated to providing specialized intensive care for fragile, premature, and critically ill newborns.

Dr. Subhodh completed his MBBS in 2006 and MD in Paediatrics from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University. He advanced his subspecialization by earning a DM in Neonatology from Madurai Medical College in 2020. He is certified in point-of-care neonatal echocardiography by the NfEcho Academy of India.

Clinical Expertise & Key Focus Areas:

• Intensive care management of extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants and severe prematurity
• Point-of-care functional echocardiography (ECHO) and bedside ultrasound in neonatal intensive care
• Advanced conventional and high-frequency oscillatory mechanical ventilation (HFOV)
• Clinical instruction in the Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (IAP-NNF 'First Golden Minute')
