Arthrotomy Cost in Thailand

The cost of pharmacy, medicines are not included in the package but if you get these from outside then you have to pay for it.

Arthrotomy is  basically a minor surgery, you can go home on the same day of the surgery.  Arthrotomy is  joint procedure  which is done under general anaesthesia, in this an incision is made a few inches long over the joint so that it can be operated. This surgery takes one to two hours to complete and you can go home on the same day of the surgery and if you have some  difficulty such as pain and inflammation over your joint this may take longer hospital stay of one to two days.

Arthrotomy will take around one to two hour to complete. After Arthrotomy surgery you may have swelling at the surgical site, moderate discomfort, limitation of opening, and occlusal changes which will subside within 2 weeks of surgery. Till the time you are staying in hospital all the expenses are given in the insurance only.

Arthrotomy cost is  included in the insurance because it is completely a medical condition.

Some of the alternative options for Arthrotomy surgery are physiotherapy, hyaluronic acid injection, medications,  acupuncture, prolotherapy and arthroscopic surgery at the last.
