- Dr. Sanjay Nagral is an extensively trained Gastrointestinal Surgeon with 40 years of rich experience in gastroscopy, liver transplant, hepatitis B treatment, gastroenteritis treatment, steatosis,gastrointestinal endoscopy and mucosal resection.
- Dr. Nagral was involved in the first successful liver transplant at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai which is currently the most extensive liver transplant program in Western India.
- He completed his MBBS in 1984 and MS in 1988 from Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College, Mumbai.
- He has published around 90 articles in indexed International and National Journals on topics related to hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, liver transplantation, and medical ethics.
- He is the founding member of the Forum for Medical Ethics and the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics. Joint Secretary, Zonal Transplant Co-ordination Committee, Mumbai.
