- He successfully did India’s first “Motor Cortex Stimulation operation” for intractable pain following Thalamic Intracerebral bleed, November 2006 and performed the surgical removal of the Largest recorded collection of Intracranial Worm cysts (Hydatid) in the world.
- He is Vice President, International Association of Neurorestoratology (IANR).
- Dr. Alok, along with his team at NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute, is the first in the world to publish its Autism case series data, Intellectual Disability case series data in the international peer-reviewed scientific journal.
- He has been awarded many prestigious awards such as Bharat Gaurav award for Distinguished Services to the Nation and Outstanding Individual Achievements at the renowned place of the world, the House of Commons of the British Parliament in London, UK; “Rose of Paracelsus Award 2016” by European Medical Association, Cannes France; “Sushrut Award 2010” for “exemplary and outstanding contribution in the field of surgery with the social and charitable aspect”, at the 10th anniversary and award ceremony organized by the Red Swastik, Mumbai, January 2011 amongst many others.
