Dr. Toufic Ata

Dr. Toufic Ata is the Medical Director and Consultant Laparoscopic, Bariatric, and General Surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. With over 17 years of surgical practice in France, Lebanon, and the UAE, Dr. Ata is an authority in advanced minimally invasive gastrointestinal, bariatric, and surgical oncologic procedures.

Dr. Ata earned his medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut and obtained a Master's in Surgical Sciences from the University of Paris XI. He is board-certified by the European Board of Surgical Oncology (EBSQ). Serving as Assistant Professor of Surgery at UAE University, he leads academic affairs as Designated Institutional Officer (DIO).
