After MBBS at KMC Manipal and MD at D.Y. Patil Medical College, Pune, he worked as a hepatology senior resident at ILBS, New Delhi and gained transplant hepatology experience at CLBS, Max Saket, before beginning his DM in Gastroenterology at G.B. Pant Hospital (GIPMER) in 2017.
