Dr. Mrinalendu Das

Dr. Mrinalendu Das serves as Senior Consultant in Adult and Paediatric Cardiac Surgery at NH Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata. He brings more than 33 years of experience to patient care.

He has headed cardiac surgery at RTIICS since 2012 after joining as a senior consultant in 2004, having previously worked at CMC Vellore and Railway Hospital, Perambur. He trained in adult cardiac surgery in Sydney and paediatric cardiac surgery in Auckland; Narayana Health credits him with more than 25,000 procedures and with the first successful heart transplant and HeartMate 3 LVAD implant in Eastern India.
