Dr. Lalit Kapoor serves as Senior Consultant in Adult Cardiac Surgery at NH Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata. He brings more than 26 years of experience to patient care.

Before joining RN Tagore Hospital he was Director of Cardiovascular Surgery at B.M. Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata, and Chief Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Apollo Hospital, Ranchi. Narayana Health credits him with the first LVAD implant in Eastern India, and he is a national proctor for sutureless rapid-deployment aortic valve replacement.
