The US diplomatic and official passport holders get a multiple-entry visa which is valid for five years. They can stay in the country maximum of 180 days for each entry. They are required to obtain a visa before travel.
To apply for a UAE visa, US citizens have to submit documents such as a complete application form with a photograph attached, an original passport with six months validity from the expected time of arrival in UAE, and a colored photo size (2×2 inches) with white background.
