Dr. Sumant Gupta

Dr. Sumant Gupta is a medical oncologist and Director at Metro Cancer Institute, Faridabad, where he is Senior Consultant and Head of Medical Oncology, Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant. He holds an MBBS, MD and DM in Medical Oncology, and trained at the Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, Chennai, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

With over 16 years in oncology care, his work covers blood cancers and bone marrow transplantation, stem cell therapy, paediatric oncology, and solid tumours including breast, lung, head and neck, oesophageal, colorectal and cervical cancers. He serves as Joint Secretary of the Indian Society of Oncology and of the Breast Cancer Foundation – India.

He received the TYSA Young Scholar Award for Best DM Oncology Fellow in 2015 and has published more than 20 national and international papers.
