Dr. Deep Goel

Dr. Deep Goel is a gastrointestinal and GI cancer surgeon. He is Vice Chairman and Head of Surgical Gastroenterology, Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, a role he has held since 2011.

With 27+ years of experience, his work covers stomach, colorectal, pancreatic, oesophageal and hepatobiliary cancer surgery, using laparoscopic and robotic techniques where suitable. He also performs bariatric and metabolic surgery.

He completed his MBBS in 1991 and DNB in 1996, with fellowship training at Mount Sinai Medical School, New York, and in France. Earlier, he worked at Artemis Health Institute and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

He operates on cancers of the stomach, colon and rectum, pancreas, oesophagus, liver, bile ducts and gallbladder, using laparoscopic and robotic techniques where suitable. He also treats severe acid reflux (GERD) and performs bariatric and metabolic surgery for obesity.
