Zambia has consistently improved its healthcare infrastructure in recent years. However, a lack of expertise, especially in cancer treatments, is affecting the quality of care. To help those patients in need more efficiently, steps are being taken to overcome these barriers and increase success rates.
Vaidam Health, aware of these problems, planned a medical camp in Zambia on August 22nd and 23rd at St. John's Medical Center, Woodlands, Lusaka. The main goal was to improve the accuracy of diagnoses and treatment plans to ensure these patients received the most efficient and individualised care possible.
Every patient who attended the camp was grateful for the professional guidance and range of viewpoints. They also indicated that they would be interested in future medical camps of this kind.
