In most developing countries like Ethiopia, trauma is a common public health problem, and it accounts for 25% of emergency surgical cases. Among those, the majority of the surgical cases were emergency orthopedic surgeries, which are often associated with moderate to severe postoperative pain.
Given such conditions, Vaidam Health conducted a successful orthopedic medical camp in Ethiopia on March 5th and 6th, 2024, in Senay Medical Center, Addis Ababa. The camp was conducted with Dr. Siddharth Bansal from Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, India.
Our team member, Fasika Negussie, was at the camp to help and assist the patients the whole time. Patients expressed satisfaction with the medical camp and thanked us for providing access to international medical experts.
