Successful IVF Consultation Camp by Vaidam Health and Nova IVF in Ethiopia
Fertility challenges are a deeply emotional journey for many families, and in Ethiopia, access to specialised IVF treatment remains limited. Despite progress in healthcare infrastructure, couples still face difficulties in finding the proper support and treatment locally. To address this gap, Vaidam Health, in partnership with Nova IVF, organized a two-day IVF consultation camp at Senay Medical Center, Ethiopia, on April 4th and 5th, 2025.
Expert IVF Care with Dr. Aswati Nair
Dr. Aswati Nair, a reputable IVF specialist with years of experience helping families overcome infertility, served as the camp leader. Her deep understanding of reproductive issues, combined with a compassionate approach, allowed her to offer personalised guidance to every patient.
She advised on typical fertility problems that many couples encounter while attempting to conceive, including blocked fallopian tubes, poor egg reserves, and low sperm count, during the two-day camp. Her expert guidance on how to address these concerns gave many attendees the reassurance and clarity they needed to move forward in their fertility journey.
Over 35 people discussed their fertility issues and looked at possible treatment choices throughout the camp. Dr. Nair's compassionate approach and detailed consultations helped patients understand their conditions, providing clarity on the next steps.
Towards a Brighter Future
The IVF consultation camp was met with great appreciation from the patients, who shared their desire for more comprehensive services in future camps. Many expressed hopes that upcoming camps would not only offer consultations but also include actual IVF procedures, making fertility treatments more accessible right here in Ethiopia.
We appreciate Dr. Aswati Nair's outstanding expertise and dedication, which contributed to the camp's success.
We also want to express our sincere gratitude to all of the patients who participated and offered their experiences and opinions. This feedback will help us continue to give Ethiopians access to high-quality medical care and fertility treatments.
