OPD Consultation Camp by Vaidam Health and Amrita Hospital in Sierra Leone
For many patients in Sierra Leone, getting timely advice from experienced cancer, brain, and spine specialists is not always easy. Symptoms such as ongoing pain, neurological weakness, unexplained weight loss, or spine problems are often ignored or evaluated late due to limited access to specialised care.
Recognising the importance of early and accurate medical guidance, Vaidam Health, in partnership with Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, India, organised a Cancer, Brain & Spine OPD Consultation Camp in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The initiative aimed to bring senior Indian specialists closer to patients, helping them understand their condition and possible next steps without the immediate need to travel abroad.
The camp was held on 15th and 16th December 2025 at Freetown International Hospital, located at 28 B Beach Road, opposite the Golf Club, Freetown.
