Pott's spine or spinal tuberculosis is a rare type of extrapulmonary TB affecting every 1 out of 1,00,000 African population. Mr. Duncan is a Nigeria national who was recently diagnosed with the disease. He had complained of upper backache since February 2023. The pain was progressive in nature, which aggravated when performing physical activities. As the disease progressed, it caused a forward curvature of the spine (kyphosis). The patient was put on tuberculosis medication in September 2023.
