Coronavirus lasts on different surfaces for a different duration.
The New England Journal of Medicine just published a study that tested how long the virus can remain stable on different kinds of surfaces within a controlled setting.
It was found on different surfaces for a different duration. The duration is a follow:

Copper- 4 hours

Cardboard-24 hours

Plastic -72 hours

Steel-72 hours
For weeks experts have maintained that the virus is not airborne. But it can travel through the air and stay viable for about 30 minutes.
