Blockchain Technology is taking the world by storm. It is being used in enterprises and shaping future. This time, an Indian company is partnering with the government of Andhra Pradesh- state in India, to design database with this revolutionary technology to collect and store data of 50 million citizens. CM of Andhra Pradesh reported that this would improve predictive medicine in India.
Record DNA Data Using Blockchain Technology: How it Works?
This technology works by Genome sequencing which is a process to determine the complete DNA sequence of organism. This will help scientists to study different gene variations and their links to diseases.
Participants will submit their genome samples which will be processed by the Shivom facility. The data will be stored in an encrypted form in secret vault which will be accessible to Shivom’s staff only. Anonymous genomic data stored in the cloud will be accessible for research purposes.
