Another Successful Cancer and Urology Camp in Liberia with MIOT, India

Urological and Cancer problems can affect anyone, and early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for effective management.

Urological problems such as kidney stones, prostate issues, urinary tract infections, and other diseases can cause significant discomfort. In severe cases, kidney transplantation is the best treatment option for people with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) compared to dialysis, with a success rate of 92.48%, according to the latest NCBI study.

On the other hand, Cancer can cause various symptoms, such as lumps, bleeding, pain, and digestive problems. Breast, gynecological, colorectal, gastrointestinal, liver, and bladder cancers are some of the most commonly diagnosed cancers worldwide. Treatment may involve surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and targeted therapies.

To improve outcomes and quality of life, it is essential to seek medical attention immediately when symptoms arise. To address these issues, Vaidam conducted a medical camp in Monrovia, Liberia, with two leading specialists from MIOT, India, on April 22nd and April 23rd, 2024.

Dr. R. Manikandan (Urologist and Renal Transplant Specialist) and Dr. Sridev M B (Surgical Oncologist) consulted patients about their health issues related to Urology and Cancers.

Our team representative, Ms. Sonima Dutta, assisted patients throughout the medical camp, helping them obtain their diagnoses. Patients expressed satisfaction and thanked us for providing access to international medical experts.
