Aarogya Setu- COVID Patient Detection App

The Government of India has introduced an application- ‘Aarogya Setu’ which tracks your proximity or interaction with individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus. 

The app uses Bluetooth and location generated social graphs for tracking and notification. This app alerts you, if someone with whom you have met or interacted, tests COVID-19 positive. One of the key features of his app is the instructions on self-isolation and recommended action on developing possible COVID-19 symptoms.

The underlying purpose of Aarogya Setu is to ensure the country is protected against the rapid spread of this pandemic. With the entire world reeling under the clutches of this deadly virus, this newly introduced app will contribute a long way in educating and sanitizing the users in maintaining social distancing and exercising best practices shared by the industry experts.
