A Brief Introduction of Hair Transplantation

Hair transplant is not just the current fad for people who have lost their hair before falling but also for those who wish to change or become appealing.

Steps for hair transplant

It is a surgical technique that involves the removal and sequence of the hairless area of hair follicles from any part of the body, such as the face or legs. This procedure is also utilised in hair transplantation in lacerations and brows. The latest procedures are permanent and hair clusters are collected. It is termed follicular hair transfer (FUT), which may be done in two ways: harvesting of strips and extraction of follicular units (FUE).

In harvesting strips, skin strips with strong hair development are planted and retrieved manually and placed at the hairless location in the follicular units.

7. Prepared region of bald recipient: After the patient has local anaesthetic, the recipient area of balds will be prepared for surgery At the top of the recipient region, no hair trimming/removal is necessary.

8. Incisions in the reservoir: Follicular unit Grafts are put in the smaller incisions which are in the recipient's region in an uneven pattern.

9. Grafts put according to densities: The smallest grafts of the hairline (one and two) and three and four (more than one and two) are placed in front of the hairline.

10. Right after the hair transplant procedure, little short hair incisions will be seen on the operated region following the hair transplant surgery.

11. Hair Transplant Surgery Closure: The scars are healed naturally and the redness disappears after one week in the recipient region.
