Ectopic Pregnancy
Pregnancy begins with a fertilized egg that attaches to the lining of the uterus. An ectopic pregnancy is a situation that arises when a fertilized egg implants and grows outside the main cavity of the uterus. It mostly occurs in a fallopian tube that carries eggs from the ovaries to the uterus. This sort of extra uterine pregnancy is named a ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy can also occur in other areas of the body like the lower part of the uterus, the ovary, and the abdominal cavity. An ectopic pregnancy is not easy to proceed normally. The fertilized egg finds it very difficult to survive. The growing tissue may lead to life-threatening bleeding when left untreated.

Treatment
A fertilized egg cannot develop outside the uterus. To prevent life-threatening complications there is a need to remove the ectopic tissue. This is generally done by using a medication, laparoscopic surgery, or abdominal surgery.
Medication
Medications like methotrexate that stops cell growth are used in early ectopic pregnancy without unstable bleeding. It dissolves with the existing cells. The medication is injected. It's very important to understand that the diagnosis of extra uterine pregnancy is extremely certain before receiving this treatment. After this, the doctor will order another HCG test that determines how well is the treatment working.
Laparoscopic Procedures
The two laparoscopic surgeries used to treat some ectopic pregnancies include Salpingostomy and salpingectomy. A small incision is made in the abdomen, near or the navel in this procedure. Then the doctor uses a skinny tube that's equipped with an optical lens and lightweight to possess a transparent view of the tubal area. The extra uterine pregnancy is removed and therefore the tube is left to heal on its own during a salpingostomy. While n a salpingectomy the ectopic pregnancy and the tube both are being removed.
Take away
Which procedure best suits you depends on the amount of bleeding and damage that happened to the tube that has ruptured. Another factor is whether or not your other Fallopian tube is normal or it also shows signs of prior damage. You can contact Dr. Nada Altabara one of the best Gynaecologists in Dubai.
