44-year-old Woman Loses 175 Kg in 2 years after Life Changing Bariatric Surgery at Laparo Obeso Centre

She weighed over 300kg previously. After the first stage bariatric surgery, she is now ready for the second one.

44-year-old Amita Rajani depended on the assistance of four to five people to get up or stand.
She weighed over 300kgs and could hardly carry out any of her daily chores.
In 2015, Rajani underwent her first bariatric surgery at Dr. Shashank Shah's Laparo Obeso Centre in Pune.
The surgery was successful and within a span of two years Rajani has lost 175kgs.
She can now go out, work and perform all her regular activities with ease.
Recently, Rajani has undergone her second stage bariatric surgery as recommended by Dr. Shah.
With the help of the surgeries she would further lose her weight by 60% and would get stabilized between 75kg and 80kg in a year, says Dr. Shah.
She now weighs around 120kgs.
