- He served as a professor of surgery at the National University of Singapore, chief of surgery at National University Hospital, and head of the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery until joining Raffles Hospital in 2001. Additionally, he serves as the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery's National Representative for Singapore (IPRAS).
