Prof. Dr. Cemal Asim Kutlu is a well-renowned Medical Oncologist having over 30+ years of experience.

He completed his graduation from Istanbul Medical School, in the year 1985.

He did his specialization in Thoracic Surgery at Yedikule Thoracic Surgery Center Royal Brompton Hospital, London.

Dr. Cemal Asim Kutlu performs a wide variety of procedures for cancer treatment such as Tracheal Surgery, Emphysema Surgery, Metastasectomy, Lung Cancer, and Extended Resections.

Some Surgical Techniques described by him include a novel technique for bronchopleural fistula closure: an hourglass-shaped stent, End-to-side bronchial anastomosis using the continuous suture technique, and Pleural flap to prevent lobar torsion: A novel technique, A quick technique for division of the first rib using a posterior approach.
