Dr.Heiner Wenk

•    Dr.Heiner Wenk is a Phlebologist/Surgeon. He holds specialisation in General Surgery, Vascular Surgeon and Visceral Surgeon. 
•    Dr.Wenk and his team perform approximately 800 aneurysm treatments in a year. They have performed over 1,000 reconstructive vein surgeries at the Vascular Surgery Center, Bremen.  
•    His expertise is working in the field of vascular medicine. 
•    He is the Chairman of the Bremer KrebsGesellschaft.
•    He studied medicine in Kiel and completed specialist training in Lübeck. He then took over as the Head of a surgical clinic in Bremen. 
•    He has worked on lymphoma and earned a Ph.D. in 1983. 
•    In 1991, he completed his Habilitation in Lübeck on the smashing of gallstones. Since 1996, he has been a Professor of Surgery in the field of vascular medicine. In 2008, Dr. Wenk was awarded the qualification of ‘Endovascular Surgeon’.   
•    Apart from writing for scientific publications, he has conducted lectures for doctors in the city.
