Dr. Sushil Kumar Murali is an esteemed Senior Consultant Neonatologist in the Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, bringing 18 years of specialized clinical experience in resuscitating and managing critically ill premature and full-term newborns.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from prestigious medical institutions in India, followed by comprehensive fellowship training in advanced neonatology. Dr. Murali has led neonatal clinical teams across major tertiary academic and pediatric hospital centers.

Clinical Expertise & Key Focus Areas:

• Intensive medical management of extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants and premature newborns from 23 weeks gestation
• Advanced neonatal mechanical ventilation strategies, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), and inhaled nitric oxide therapy
• Targeted neonatal therapeutic hypothermia for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and continuous cerebral function monitoring
