She earned her MBBS from the University of Jordan in 1997 and completed her Ophthalmology Residency Program at Mafraq Hospital, UAE. Dr. Juma subsequently completed a prestigious Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinical Fellowship at the world-renowned Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas, USA, in 2015.
