Dr. Sukumar Barik serves as Senior Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah, and also practises at Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Howrah. He brings more than 37 years of experience to patient care.

He qualified MBBS in 1981 and MD in 1985, completed the DNB in 1987 and was awarded the FRCOG in 2003. He has also taught as an Associate Professor at ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Haldia.
