Dr. Samer Shouman Alkahwaty is the Head of Department and Consultant in Anesthesiology at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi. With over 21 years of clinical experience in governmental and leading private healthcare institutions across Syria, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, Dr. Alkahwaty is an authority in surgical anesthesia and analgesia.

Dr. Samer obtained his Certificate of Higher Study of Anesthesia and ICU in 2003, followed by the Arab Board in Anesthesia and Intensive Care in 2009. He further earned a specialized Postgraduate Diploma in Regional Anesthesia and Analgesia from the prestigious University of Montpellier in France in 2013.
