Dr. Ishthiaque Ahamed

Dr. Ishthiaque Ahamed is a premier Consultant Nephrologist at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah, with a quarter-century of clinical practice. He is an authority in the clinical management of acute kidney injury, chronic renal failure, and pre- and post-kidney transplant care.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, followed by DM in Nephrology from the esteemed Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore, India. Dr. Ahamed completed clinical transplant observerships at Toronto General Hospital (Canada) and Asan Medical Center (Seoul, South Korea), serving as Assistant Professor at KMC before moving to the UAE.
