Dr. Goncalo Ferreira

Dr. Goncalo Ferreira is an accomplished Consultant in Nuclear Medicine at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, with 10 years of specialized clinical practice in PET-CT molecular imaging, radionuclide therapy, and theranostics across premier cancer institutes in Portugal, Australia, and the UAE.

He completed his Master's in Medicine at the University of Porto, followed by Nuclear Medicine residency at IPO Porto and advanced clinical attachments at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine (FEBNM).

Clinical Expertise & Key Focus Areas:

• Precision molecular PET-CT imaging for staging and restaging of oncologic malignancies (FDG, PSMA, DOTA)
• Targeted radionuclide theranostics including Lutetium-177 DOTATATE for metastatic neuroendocrine tumors
