With 21+ years of experience, Dr. Girishchandra Varma is the most notable Cardiac Surgeon in UAE.

He has performed over 5000 coronary artery bypass operations and helped in over 4500 more. Over 100 redo-open heart operations have also been conducted by him.

Dr. Girishchandra Varma has performed UAE’s first Total Arterial Revascularization – Triple Bypass Surgery using LIMA – Radial ‘Y’, Composite Conduit Procedure.

He is the first surgeon to perform Awake Coronary Bypass Surgery on Beating Heart in the U.A.E, and the only Cardiac Surgeon to do an Awake Aortic Valve Replacement Surgery in the Middle East.

Dr. Girishchandra specializes in Cardiac Sciences, Chest Pain Clinic, Cardiothoracic surgeries, Beating heart (off-pump) coronary artery bypass graft surgery and Open Heart Surgery.

He has also attained a postgraduate diploma (Cardiovascular Surgery) from University Piere & Marie Curie, Paris in 1999.
