He graduated from Medical College, Calcutta in 2000, completed his MS at Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi in 2003 and obtained the MRCS (Edinburgh) in 2005, before working as an Orthopaedics Registrar at Homerton University Hospital, London from 2005 to 2008.
