Prof. Dr. Basem A Khalil is an internationally acclaimed Professor and Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at King's College Hospital Dubai with over 24 years of surgical leadership. UK-trained with FRCS, he is a leading expert in neonatal surgery, pediatric laparoscopy, and urogenital reconstructions.

He earned his Medical Degree followed by extensive pediatric surgery training in the United Kingdom, achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Paed Surg, UK). He served as Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital before joining King's College Hospital Dubai.
