Prof. (Dr.) Amitabha Chakrabarti serves as Senior Consultant in Thoracic & Vascular Surgery at NH Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata, and also practises at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah. The doctor has more than 23 years of experience.

Dr. Chakrabarti is recognised in Eastern India for developing video-assisted (VATS) and robotic thoracic surgery and heads Narayana Health's thoracic and vascular surgery unit in the region.
