Vasectomy Cost in Turkey

Medicines costs are only included in the package during the time frame when the patient is hospitalized. If the patient purchases any medicines from outside the hospital, they are not covered in the package.

It is an outpatient procedure that lasts less than 30 minutes. You can rest for a while until you are ready to go home. You can schedule a follow-up appointment six to twelve weeks after the surgery for semen analysis. It is done to confirm that no sperm are present.

Take medicine with acetaminophen to reduce the pain and apply an ice pack to lower the swelling. Ask your healthcare provider before having intercourse. Consult your doctor if you experience swelling or pain in your scrotum, a growing lump, fever, chills, and trouble urinating. Any treatment after vasectomy is not included in the package. 

Health insurance usually covers vasectomy, but you may require an in-network doctor or pay coinsurance costs. 

One alternative to vasectomy is temporary contraceptives, including condoms, diaphragms, birth control medications, and hormonal treatments for women.
