Blalock taussig bt shunt is being attached by the cardiologist to the major blood vessel such as subclavian artery and to the pulmonary artery which will force the blood through the BT shunt to the lungs to pick up more oxygen.  After surgery you will be kept on a mechanical ventilation  and chest tubes will be placed for collecting fluid and foley catheter will be placed for collecting urine.  The surgery and the post surgery expense are being included in the package.
