Before a pituitary tumor treatment, your doctor will do some tests: blood tests, vision tests, MRI scans, PET scans, and venous blood sampling. These tests are generally included in the package.

MRI is necessary every 6 months for the first 2 years and then once a year post-surgery.
It can take 6 weeks to recover after the surgery fully. You should avoid strenuous activities for 1 to 2 weeks. You may have numbness near your wounds and swelling around the eyes. It is essential to visit your specialist regularly to check if the tumor has recurred. If the tumor recurs, it will be treated with radiotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, or repeat surgery. All these have additional charges.
