Alao Alimi is a 4 years old child from Nigeria, who has been a cheerful kid with bright eyes. Shortly, the family started digging out information for the best eye doctor in India. Applying for visa
The team of Vaidam Health also helped in getting the Visa Invitation Letter from the hospital. Thereafter, the medical visa was applied. In a couple of days, the family received the visa at their email address. The hotel was booked and the airport pickup was arranged before their arrival in India. Finally, Alao and his father landed in India on September 29. The appointment was scheduled with Dr. Sameer Kaushal, one of the finest eye doctors in India.
Their journey in India
During the appointment, the doctor heard the entire story and then performed some tests. Finally, he was able to confirm that Alao needed as surgery called Trabeculectomy.
In brief, trabeculectomy is a surgical procedure done to reduce the intraocular pressure, which is done by making a tiny hole in the sclera of the eye.
Finally, Dr. Sameer performed the surgery successfully. Alao stayed in the hospital overnight to avoid any complications and was discharged the next day. The doctor explained to his father about the post-surgical precautions that they would need to take.
