- Dr. Millicent Alache Bello is a highly experienced and skilled General Surgeon with +35 years of experience as a breast surgeon including aesthetic oncoplasty of the breasts.
- She is a professional member of the, General Medical Council, the British Medical Association, the Association of Breast Surgery at BASO and the Medical Defence Union.
- Dr. Bello completed her MBBS in 1982 and then earned FRCS (Ed) in 1991, FRCS (Gen.Surg Ed) in 2000 and M.Phil in 2005 from Leicester. In the interim, she also obtained the certificate of completion of Specialist Training in 2000.
- Dr. Bello has practice and expertise in several surgeries such as, breast cancer surgery, breast reductions/augmentations and incorporate these techniques into the oncological setting, prophylactic breast surgery and immediate breast reconstruction, oncoplastic breast reconstruction with special interest in breast conservation using oncoplastic and mammoplasty techniques, treating other breast diseases and breast screening, congenital breast deformity and acquired anomaly among several other services.
- A very active and dedicated surgeon, Dr. Bello was in-charge of developing the landscape of breast care delivery at Noble’s Hospital on the Isle of Man. She regularly organises and presents talks on breast awareness.
