Vaidam Team pays a visit to Manipal Hospital, Dwarka

The team of Vaidam Health visited Manipal Hospital, Dwarka a little while back to get more familiar with all the facilities, infrastructure, and functioning of the hospital. Around 7 people from the team visited the hospital; they had a cordial welcome by Dr. Vikas Gupta and the unit. Dr. Gupta arranged cake-cutting for Vaidam. Later, he gave a detailed presentation about the hospital. He explained how all the floors are segregated based on the distinction of specialties. He also mentioned the excellent ambulance services of the hospital. This was followed by a hospital tour accompanied by the unit.

Dr. Vikas Gupta is the Head of Neurosurgery department at the hospital. He holds a rich experience of approximately 31 years. He is one of the very few neurosurgeons in India, who are trained in both micro-neurosurgeries and neuro-interventional surgeries. He has also been a co-author of textbooks of neurosurgery and is a part of the editorial board of Neurology India.

Manipal Hospital is a leading hospital in India that provides treatment to both national and international patients. The infrastructure works with the cutting-edge technology, working 24X7, especially endowed for the emergency and trauma situations. The hospital is decked with 380 beds with 13 state-of-art OTs, and 118 critical care beds. There are several technical advancements such as automated pneumatic chute system, telemedicine, remote monitoring, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and many more. As per the hospital, their foremost goal is to establish a “ Digital Hospital” in an efficient and organized manner.
