Dr. Somaskandar Sivasuntharam was the Penang State representative for the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (2012-2014), the Malaysian Medical Association, the Perinatal Society of Malaysia, the Society for Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine Malaysia (SAAAMM) and the World Endometriosis Society.
